Arica
Reception at Calama airport; transfer to hotel in San Pedro, about 100 km away. Arrival to San Pedro (2,436 meters above sea level). Accommodation at hotel. Free morning for touring this charming village located near the north side of the great salt deposit of Atacama.
Breakfast at hotel. Tour around the old city of Arica and its main attractions: the San Marcos Church and the Old Custom Offices, both designed by Gustav Eiffel; we will go up the Moll of Arica, site of historic battles from where there is a splendid panoramic view of the city.
