Season of operation: Daily all year. This is a very traditional excursion to Bariloche. You will take a tour through the municipal center around Nahuel Huapi National Park and Llao Llao Municipal Park.
We will visit: plantations de lavanda - fábricas de tejidos - candles - dolls - watches arts & crafts - dried flowers art - chocolates and sweets - ceramics - beer casera - pisciculturas - herrerías - tea houses - livestock
It is about a 65 kilometer ride. We will leave the city and head west on Avenida Ezequiel Bustillo. We cross lake Nahuel Huapi and then turn south at Circuito Chico. We will pass Lake El Trébol on the right hand. We will cross the bridge which connects the two parts of Lake Moreno and turn to the left into Colonia Suiza, where we will take the opportunity to visit its farms and taste some delicious tea.
Then we will continue along the road to a scenic viewpoint to enjoy the panoramic view of the Llao Llao Peninsula and its surroundings. From here we will continue to Bahia López, where the imposing rock walls of Lopez and Capilla stand. We reach kilometer 40, where Hotel Llao Llao is found along with nearby San Eduardo Chapel and Puerto Pañuelo, the jumping-off point for excursions to Victoria Island, Arrayanes Forest and Puerto Blest.
We return along Avenida Bustillo going east along the banks of Lake Nahuel Huapi, passing kilometer 20.4 through the entrance to San Pedro Peninsula. At kilometer 19 we will visit Carmelitas Descalzas Monastary and enjoy some of the arts and caramel sweets (among them the exquisite alfajores caseros). Lastly, we will return to the city via the same road.
