Grande Circuit - BARI11

The departure from Bariloche is by route Nacional 237, crossing Arroyo Ñireco, Rió Ñirihuau, Río Limay, and the provinces of Río Negro y Neuquén. It passes Pampa Newbery and takes us to Rincón Chico. Then we will board the Limay ride to Rincón Grande where we will find the Amphitheatre, which was built in a way that resembles a great roman coliseum.

Our tour then continues into Encantado Valley; where strange rock formations can be seen, named due to their shape: El Dedo de Dios (God's Finger), Centinela (Sentinel), Tren Expreso (Express Train), los Siameses (The Siamese), and several others. A few kilometers farther, we find the confluence of the Traful and Limay Rivers. We will take a right hand turn onto National Route 65, just before reaching the bridge over the Traful River. Route 65 is a winding road, crossing valleys and mountains, and offers a beautiful view of the three Rivers Cuyin, Manzano and Minero. The road takes us through the beautiful forests bordering Lake Traful. Before reaching the town of Traful, we'll come to cliff-top viewpoint, 70 meters (230 ft) above the lake, at a sharp curve protected by heavy, rustic wooden guard rails. Continuing on from there, we pass through town and then through Puerto Arrayán to Portezuelo, where the road joins National Route 234, also known as the Route of 7 Lakes. Right away we will pass through a place called Quintupuray, cross Lake Correntoso, and go up to Ruca Malen. Following the road south through dense forests, we ride along the banks of Lake Espejo. We continue for 6 km (4 miles) around the Lake and arrive into Villa La Angostura. From there, we take National Route 231 to Puerto Manzano along Lake Huemul until Route 237, which leads us to Bariloche.
