Located in the picturesque region of Yungas, about 96 km (60 miles) and a four hour trip from the city of La Paz, the town of Coroico enjoys a warm climate and has good hotels and infrustructure to relax and enjoy oneself. It is situated at an altitude of 1750 m (5740 ft) and is a beautiful place to go for a horseback or bike ride.
Public bus from La Paz - Corioco, arriving at about 11 am. Visit the fruit plantations, coca plantations, and the town itself.
