-Day 01 Arica
Reception at airport, transfer to hotel. Overnight
-Day 02 Arica -Azapa Valley
Breakfast at hotel. Tour around the old city of Arica and its main attractions: the San Marcos Church and the Old Custom Offices, both designed by Gustav Eiffel; we will go up the Moll of Arica, site of historic battles from where there is a splendid panoramic view of the city. Then we will visit an oasis, the Azapa Valley following and ancient road used during Inca times. We will be able to see geoglyphs drawn on the hills. Visit to the Archeological Museum of Azapa where we will find mummies from the Chinchorro Culture, considered one of the oldest of the world and a complete exhibition of the Pre-Hispanic period of the region. Return to hotel. Overnight
-Day 03 Arica - Putre -Chungara Lake
Breakfast at hotel. vMorning departure to the Lluta Valley towards the Lauca National Park. On the way we will be pass Quebrada de Cardones, the village of Zapahuira and we will see the altiplano village of Putre with its interesting terrace plantations. Visit to the village of Parinacota, with its XVII Century Church of Andean colonial architecture. Then we continue to Lake Chungara which is the highest in the world at 14.850 ft (4500 m). The lake is home to a wide variety of species of birds, including the Chilean flamingo, giant coots and Andean gulls.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport.
