-Day 01
Arrival to the city of Huaraz, Transfer to your chosen hotel. Acclimatization hike to
Lake Churup (4450 m / 14,600 ft).
-Day 02
Transfer: Huaraz - Caraz (breakfast). Cashapampa (2900 m / 9515 ft) - Lllama Corral (3760 m / 12,335 ft). Camp.
-Day 03
Llama Corral - Taullipampa (4250 m / 13,940 ft) we will pass by Lakes Ichiccocha and Jatuncocha and will be able to observe the snow-capped peaks of Aguja de Santa Cruz, Pumapamp, Curuicachajana, Quitaraju, Alpamayo, Pucahirca, Rinrinjirca, Taullipampa, Artesonraju, Paria, Millishraju, and others.
-Day 04
Taullipampa - Quebrada Paria (3870 m / 12,700 ft). Today we will cross the Punta Union pass (4750 m / 15,580 ft) from where there is an impressive view of the Cordillera Blanca mountains, such as Taulliraju, Rinrijircas, Pucahircas, Quitaraju, Santa Cruz, Artesonraju, Piramide de Garcilazo, Paria, and Millishraju.
-Day 05
Quebrada de Paria - Vaqueria (3850 m / 12,631 ft) - Llanganuco Lakes
(Chinancocha and Oroncocha). We will have a beauiful view of the picturesque
villages along the valley, such as Yurma, Huaripampa, Colcabamba, and Chacraraju. Then we will cross the pass of Portachuelo (4780 m / 15,680 ft) for a view of Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Chacraraju, the peaks of the four Huandoys, Pisco. At the end of the trek, transfer to Huaraz. |
