Excursion to Tipón, Piquillacta and Andahuaylillas. South of Cusco, Tipón is surrounded with platforms and inca walls. Piquillacta is a civil monument of 50 hectares of inca architecture of terraces, stone walls and two story buildings. The church of Andahuaylillas, also called "The Sistine Chapel of Peru" holds in its interior of some of the most beautiful examples of colonial art. We will visit Oropesa, which is known as the"Land of Bread" for its numerous bakery ovens that have provided Cusco with fresh bread since ancient times.
