-Day 01
Welcome and transfer from Juliaca airport to Puno. On the way we will visit the burial towers or “chullpas” of Sillustani located 35 Kms from Puno; thought to have been built by one of the tribes who ruled the area before Inca domination. In the evening you can visit the city and overnight in the chosen hotel.
-Day 02
Transfer to the local port in Puno. We board and start our sailing to Uros, an artificial island built with totora reeds. Then we will visit Chucuito located 18kms from Puno, Pomata and Punta Hermosa (yunguyo). We will board and sail to Anapia Island through the minor lake. Welcome and overnight in community home.
-Day 03
After breakfast, we board sailboat to visit Agricultura Island (farming fields), then we will visit Yuspique Island, also called Vicuñas island, where we can find arqueological remains of “chullpas”, beaches with fine sand. In the afternoon, we will have a andean picnic with the beautiful scenery and take a break. Finally we get back to Anapia and overnight in community home.
-Day 04
We depart to Copacabana from where we return to Puno or make a connection to La Paz city in Bolivia.
