Night off, it is optional to take a tour in a horse-drawn carriage with dinner in a restaurant in the historical cen¬ter.
Accommodation.
Day 2:
Breakfast at the hotel, morning off to enjoy the sun and the beach or go shopping for handcraft in touristic mar¬ket places or handcraft malls. Lunch (on the client’s bill).
In the afternoon, pick up at the hotel for a panoramic tour of the main neighborhoods: Bocagrande, Castillo¬grande, Manga and Pie de la Popa, then visit and en¬trance to the La Popa Convent and the San Felipe Castle; stopping in for The Vaults to buy handcraft and see the panoramic of the historical center. Return to the hotel, dinner (on client’s bill).
Accommodation.
Day 3:
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer from the hotel to the airport to take a flight back to the hometown. You can take additional nights.
Gabo’s Cartagena
The city that has marked great part of the literatur history and life of Gabriel Garcia Marquez is with no doubt Cartagena de Indias. We invite you to take a fascinating audio tour through the places that evoke his presence and many of the characters of the lovely streets of the historical center, a place where reality mixes with magic. A specially designed tour where you will discover the other face of the wonders of Cartagena, where in every step there is an appointment with its history and Gabo’s literature. It will be like living in a magic realism. This is a walking tour, which combines the history of the streets of the old city and its importance in Gabo’s life. We will have two regular and daily departures for groups with guide at 9 am and 3 pm.
You can also do it independently at any time of the day, according to the client’s choice.
Tour: Santo domingo Square, Aduana Square, San Pedro claver, Fernandez de Madrid Square, The University, Gabo’s house, the house of his friend the painter, master Obregon, and a lot more.
