
Departure from Huarás to the city of Chiquián (3400 m / 11155 ft) and then on to Llamac (3250 m / 10663 ft) and finally to Rondoy (3900 m / 12795 ft). Hike of 6 - 7 hours, observing the first snow-capped peaks such as Ninashanca. Along our route we will pass through the picturesque villages of Pocpa and Paclla before arrival to the Rondoy campsite.
Itinerary Cordillère Huayhuash 04 Jours – 03 Nuits
Day 01
Departure from Huarás to the city of Chiquián (3400 m / 11155 ft) and then on to Llamac (3250 m / 10663 ft) and finally to Rondoy (3900 m / 12795 ft). Day 02
Rondoy – Lake Jahuacocha (4100 m / 13450 ft). About a 6 hour hike today and we will cross the Sambunya pass (4750 m / 15584 ft) and then descend to Lake Jahuacocha. Along the way we will pass Lake Solterococha before arriving to Lake Jahuacocha where we will set up camp.
Day 03
Lake Jahuacocha - Llamac (3250 m / 10663 ft). Hike of 5 to 6 hours over the last pass, Pampa de Llamac (4300 m / 14108 ft). We will get our last glimpse of the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Huayhuash
Day 04
Llamac - Chiquián (3400 m / 11155 ft) about 2 hours by bus, travelling along the same path on which we began our journey. Transfer from Chiquián then to Huaraz. End of services.
