CUSCO-SACRED VALLEY  & INCA TRAIL
07 DAYS – 06 NIGHTS

Cuzco is Peru’s main tourist destination and one of the most important destinations in the Americas. Known by the Incas as the “Home of the Gods”, Cuzco became the capital of one of the largest pre-Columbian empires: the Tawantinsuyo.  Its name in Quechua means “Navel of the World.”

Day 1 – Cusco
Transfer to the airport
City tour in Cusco. Guided visit to the Cathedral, The Inca Temple of Koricancha and the nearby ruins such as: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara The Red fortress and Tambomachay
Overnight in Cusco

Day 2 – Sacred Valley
Breakfast. Guided visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Just an hour’s drive from Cusco, the Urubamba Valley, or Sacred Valley of the Incas, is a setting of picturesque communities, impressive terraces and many important archaeological sites. Dominated by the imposing peaks of the Vilcanota mountain range, the valley has been the storehouse for agricultural products for the city of Cusco since Inca times, and today is famous for its corn with the largest kernels in the world. The valley includes the area between the Inca communities of Pisac and Ollantaytambo.   Return to Cusco around 17:00 hrs.  Overnight in Cusco.

Day 03 - Inca trail: Cusco-Piscacucho-Wayllabamba
Pick up from your hotel (7.00 am) in a private bus. We will pass the sacred valley (Chinchero, Urubamba y Ollantaytambo) and arrive to Pisacucho km. 82, where we will have breakfast. From there, we will start our trekking, stop in misccay town in 1 hour 30  minutes approximately. Along the way we will visit the archaeological site called Llactapata. After that we will arrive to Waillabamba, the first campsite. We will have dinner and rest.

Day 04 - Inca trail: Wayllabamba-Warmiwañusca-Pacaymayo
We will have breakfast early and start trekking to the highest point of the Inka Trail, where we can see different ecological zones and enjoy changing climates. We will cross the Warmiwañusca pass at 4200 meters above sea level. After lunch we will continue on to the campsite at Pacaymayo and enjoy dinner and a well deserved rest.

Day 05 - Inca trail: Pacaymayo-Chaquicocha-Wiñaywayna
We will continue our trek and visit some archaeological places on the way (Runcurakay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca). Finally we will camp at  Wiñaywaina.

Day 06 - Inca trail: Wiñaywayna-Machupicchu-Cusco
The following day very early in the morning about 04.30 am, after breakfast, we leave Winñaywayna for the Untipunku or "Gate of the Sun" where will have a breathtaking panoramic view of the Machu Picchu citadel at sunrise.  From this point, the astonished traveler can contemplate the majesty and grandeur of Machu Picchu. After a short hike down to Machu Picchu, we register and start on 3 hour guided visit. After enjoying the remains, we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where you will have free time to enjoy the town before we return to Cusco.
Machu Picchu: is the Inca City; and many claim it to be the most beautiful, best preserved and most famous fortress in the world. The city was considered lost for many centuries, covered as it was by lush vegetation typical of the Southern Peruvian Andes cloud forest.
Return to Cusco.

Day 07 – Cuco - Lima
Transfer to the airport . Flight to Lima

buenas! no me quedó del todo claro cuál es la tarifa para el camino inca silver. son 190 dolares por person o es doble? los 50 dolares a qué hacen referencia? los servisios dede tren (Vistadome
y Hiram Bingham ) son opcionales no?

BUENAS TARDES. TRANSCRIBO A CONTINUACIÓN UNA IDEA DE UN GRUPO DE AQUÍ EN COLOMBIA QUE QUIERE HACER ESTE RECORRIDO.
SOLICITO A LA MAYOR BREVEDAD POSIBLE LA COTIZACION DE LOS REQUERIMIENTOS DE ESTE GRUPO. (APROX. 15 PARTICIPANTES). NECESITO QUE TODO ESTE INCLUIDO, DESDE LIMA. Nuestra idea es hacer eco-turismo, no somos turistas, somos un grupo que hace contactos con la naturaleza, lo que implica caminadas de tres a 4 horas (unos 12 kilómetros). La idea es desarrollar una salida al Perú donde realicemos varias caminadas como puede ver en la propuesta que le presento. Este tipo de viaje reduce mucho los costos pues si observa proponemos que el CAMINO DEL INKA se realice hospedándonos en carpas tal como lo han hecho otros grupos que salen de Medellín.
Como no conozco la ruta al final le hago un comentario sobre cómo podríamos añadir un día más en Lima, o un recorrido en bus CUSCO-PUNO.
Espero le sirvan están inquietudes para un paquete turístico como el que requerimos.

PROPUESTA DE SALIDA ECO-TURISTICA PARA EL CLUB DE CAMINANTES DE ANTIOQUIA.
DIA 1. COLOMBIA – Lima acomodación en el hotel.
DIA 2. Lima city tour por la ciudad de los reyes visitando la Lima moderna y la colonial con su centro histórico declarado patrimonio de la humanidad.
En la noche visita al circuito mágico del agua, ganador del record Guinness al complejo de fuentes más grande del mundo.
DIA 3. Lima – Cusco. Salida en vuelo domestico hacia Cusco. En la tarde visita a las ruinas de SACSAYHUAMÁN, PUCAPUCARA, O’ENGO Y TAMBOMACHAY. En la noche reunión informativa sobre el camino del Inka.
DIA 4 AL 7. CAMINO DEL INKA. Haremos un recorrido de 4 días y 3 noches. Se debe pasar las noches en Carpas.
Se inicia el Camino a una altura de 2.600 m.s.n.m. y la máxima altura será de 4.200 m.s.n.m. (esta altura es variable y se tratara acomodarla a la situación particular de nuestros caminantes que no debe pasar los 3.400 m.s.n.m.
El segundo día estaremos en el denominado ABRA WARNI WAÑUSCA (paso de la mujer muerta).
Durante toda la travesía se tendrá la oportunidad de divisar varios centros arqueológicos como: PATALLACTA, RUNKURAKAY, SAYAGMARKA,PHUYU, PATAMARKA, INTIPATA,WIÑAYWAYNA,INTIPUNKU Y TUNELES INKAS labrados en roca.
El cuarto día madrugada a las 4 a.m. y luego de tres horas de caminada llegaremos a MACHUPICCHU, para disfrutar todo el día de uno de los más importantes centros arqueológicos del imperio Incaico. En la noche relajación en las aguas termales. Pernotaremos en AGUAS CALINTES.
DIA 8. AGUAS CALIENTES –CUSCO. Se toma el tren de regreso a OLLANTAYTAMBO y posteriormente en bus para llegar a CUSCO. En la tarde visita a museos, ciudad denominada el “ombligo del Mundo” por estar en el centro del mundo InKa.
DIA 9. LAGO TITICACA. Durante todo el día estaremos en el lago navegable más alto del mundo 3.856 m.s.n.m . Visita a las islas flotantes de UROS y a la pintoresca isla TAQUILE que se caracteriza por sus bellos paisajes y tejidos.
DIA 10. Caminada al mirador del lago. En la tarde tour a SILLUSTANI donde se encuentran las famosas chulpas preincaicas al lado de la laguna Umago.
DIA 11. Traslado al aeropuerto para tomar vuelo a Medellín con escala en Lima-
Se puede añadir un día más como día 9 para ir CUSCO-PUNO el viaje es en bus una diez horas y durante el recorrido se visita el pueblo de ANDAHUAYLILLAS y su “Capilla Sixtina de América,” RAYCHI, templo Inka de monumentales dimensiones, SICUANI, famoso por sus exquisitos manjares, LA RAYA, el punto más alto del trayecto donde se encuentra la estación ferroviaria el SOROCHE; PUKARA, famosa por la alfarería juliaca y finalmente PUNO.
O se puede estar un día más en Lima.

Quiero hacer camino del Inca desde cusco con mi señora alrededor de fin de mayo. Me interesa un servicio premium. Me gustaria que me dieran detalle de almuerzos y cenas. Se puede incluir vino en las cenas. Las carpas pueden ser para 2?
